Having a best friend is something that many of us desire to have. But a best friend who is also your companion, ride or die, or confidant. YOUR SOULMATE! That lifetime connection is priceless and enchanting. I’m honored to have photographed this sunrise engagement for Jessica & Justin. Congratulations to the couple and I wish nothing but the best for your future.
Why I chose photography?
It chose me…
As a kid I had a very artistic imagination. I always functioned with a curios mind and wondrous thoughts. Fortunately as I got older, I was able to use curiosity and wonder as fuel for my art. Photography helps me shift my perspective to see life from the lenses/eyes of the people I photograph. In a sense, telling stories is one thing I know I’ll be able to do even in my 90’s. Even if I have to move with a cane, or wheelchair. The story must be told… I want to continue to create and share my work, so that 100-200 years from now my work/creative process can inspire the next person to pick up a camera and start shootinh. Photography is art, admire it’s beauty.
CoViD-19 & Connections
Life has rapidly changed over the past few months. The secret of crisis management is not good vs. bad, its preventing the bad from getting worse. -Andy Gilman. Continue to practice social distancing, be mindful of the elderly & those with respiratory issues. Take this extra time to be creative. Read a book. Or even exercise. Try to create something that you've been wanting to create for a while. Stay positive & together we'll get through this!
CONNECTIONS
May 20, 2020
Over the past few months we’ve had to adjust our everyday lives in order to decrease the spread of the virus. Schools, some companies, & even sports organizations cancelled, & life as we knew it, changed… quarantine has taught me many things & I got the chance to learn some new skills, spend more time with family, & take as many pictures as I want! Hopefully as the world continues to recalibrate, we continue to follow guidelines, sanitize, & stay safe so that we can recover properly.
